A Halifax native, Tiffany Cheverie (née Robertson) received her Bachelor of Arts with High Honours from St. Thomas University in 2007, with a focus in Psychology and Human Rights. In 2010, Tiffany graduated with her Bachelor of Laws from the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law. Tiffany is currently working toward obtaining a Certificate of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Dalhousie’s College of Continuing Education.
Tiffany was involved in student life at Dalhousie as Co-Chair of the Graduation Committee and as a member of the Dalhousie Women and Law Society. Tiffany was also a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada and in her final semester of studies participated in the Clinical Law Program at Dalhousie Legal Aid, practicing disability and poverty law, among other areas.
As a member of the Burchells Litigation Practice Group, Tiffany practices general civil litigation primarily acting for insurers in personal injury, property, LTD and other insurance coverage claims. Tiffany has previous work experience in mediation and conflict resolution and has a keen interest in the alternative dispute resolution process.
Tiffany is interested in volunteerism, musical theatre, CBC Radio, international cuisine and swimming. In her spare time, Tiffany can be found camping at Louis Lake as a Brownie leader for Girl Guides of Canada. Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family at Sherbrooke Lake.
Tiffany is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers and Nova Scotia Insurance Women’s Association.
