Burchells lawyer Naiomi Metallic is running for an At-Large seat on the Nova Scotia Barristers Society's Bar Council. The At-Large positions ensure Council reflects the diversity of our profession and community. Given Naiomi's breadth of practice, cultural background and multi-lingualism she offers a unique range of different and important perspectives to the work of Council.
Continuing the Burchells tradition of service to the public and profession, in early April partner Michael Wood, Q.C.was elected to serve on the Nova Scotia Barristers Society's Bar Council as one of Halifax's regional representatives. By a general ballot of HRM lawyers, Michael received the most votes of any candidate.
