Abajignmuen: Giving Back.
That's what Burchell Wickwire Bryson LLP's Naiomi Metallic, Ashley Hamp-Gonsalves and Roy Stewart are doing, as the collective driving force behind Dalhousie's new Aboriginal and Indigenous Law Website.
The site aims to provide community access to the work of Schulich School of Law students, including projects on access to justice and other course work with value beyond the classroom. The portal also aims to help Mìgmaq and other Indigenous groups in Atlantic Canada revitalize and implement their laws, governance and economies based on their own Indigenous values, principles, protocols, and processes.
