January 2012

The partners at Burchells are pleased to welcome David Lewis and Cory Withrow into the partnership.

An active member of the firm's transactions group, David's busy practice focuses on residential real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, and corporate and commercial law.  He is our go-to lawyer on residential property matters with a growing profile in Nova Scotia's legal community.

Cory completed his articles with us in 2004, since then developing a wide-ranging advocacy practice centred on insurance defence, builders' liens, construction disputes and other complex commercial matters. Cory also devotes time to the Canadian Bar Association, most recently as chair of Nova Scotia's Civil Litigation subsection.

Burchells has built its reputation on lawyers like these and we are proud to have them. Congratulations to you both on this career milestone!
