In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Burchells’ focus has been on maintaining the safety of our colleagues and community while continuing to support our clients.
Burchells recognizes its responsibility in slowing the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. To help meet that responsibility we are minimizing interpersonal contact and practicing effective social distancing. We are now directing all lawyers and staff to work from home, and to make use of the firm's many electronic resources for the conduct of our business. We remain committed to ensuring our clients’ needs are and continue to be met.
We will be closing our offices to the public effective 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2020. Subject to ongoing review, our intention is to reopen Monday, April 6, 2020.
This has been a very difficult time for everyone. We take this step knowing it best ensures the safety of staff, lawyers, the community, and our ability to continue meeting the needs of our business partners and clients.
