Last month litigation partner and firm co-manager Cheryl Canning attended the Canadian Bar Association's annual Legal Profession Assistance Conference Workshop in Ottawa as part of her new role on LPAC's national Board of Directions.
Cheryl was appointed Secretary/Treasurer of the board, and now holds the positions of both Atlantic Representative and Secretary/Treasurer (an executive position).
The Legal Profession Assistance Conference of the CBA is committed to the health, wellness and recovery of lawyers, judges and law students in Canada, and provides continuing education, support and expertise to all of the Provincial and Territorial Lawyers’ Assistance Programs in Canada. It also operates a 24 hour confidential helpline for lawyers, judges and law students.
